The Bureaucracies suck rant

So What is today's rant about you ask? Well reading on will clue you in. Today we discuss
Bureaucracies, can you say Bure-au-cra-cies?? Let me tell you something about these wonders of human
civilisation.

THEY SUCK!

I am having to deal with three prime examples of Bureaucracy right now. All of them dealing with
something quite easily handled if it were not for the incompetents that have been put in charge. I will
save you poor souls from the gory details of all three and just give you a glimpse at one, buckle your
seat belts 'cause here we go .

OK as you should by know now, I am in college. Each semester when you are in college, if you are
Relying on financial aid to pay for school (which I am). You must re-apply for aid. Lucky (?) for all us
financial aiders they now allow you to do this online, sounds simple huh? NOT QUITE MY DEARIES! So
I get my password, go online and start filling stuff out. I get half way done and it won't let me fill out
one of the forms, so I try several things to get to the form, no go. I then realize I will need to start
over again and hope it works. Of course I am not so lucky. I instead end up doing the thing 3 times.
Praise the lord, I get it done. I have my signature on file so I won't need to send stuff in.
About 2 weeks later I get a thingy in the mail that has all this info I put down on it and if any of it's
wrong I need to change it and send it back. It's all right, mostly, and so I just let it be. Now remember,
I COMPLETELY FILLED OUT THIS APPLICATION. I am pleased that things are going smoothly. Of
course when dealing with a Bureaucracy you can never let your guard down, never, never, never. You
start thinking things are going ok then *WHAMO* They fuck with you. Ok so now here's the juicy part,
3 WEEKS later I get a thing in the mail from my College Financial Aid office, it's 3 different forms that
I need to fill out and send back so they can process my application….THE HILARIOUS THING
IS….THEY ALREADY HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION. God only knows why the hell they need it again.
Needless to say, This is not the first nor the worst instance of crappy management, people that can't
read, obvious waste of paper AND wastes of space that constitutes a Bureaucracy.
Now what have we learned dearies? Hmmmm? NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON A Bureaucracy!!!
